We start with our biggest Church the Mariendom, further to the Linz Castle, to the Stiftsbasilka in the Sankt Florian Abbey and finally up to our landmark from Linz, the Pöstlingberg with a wonderful view over Linz. With a cup of coffee or tea with a piece of original Linzer cake (Linzer Torte) we let the tour end comfortably. If you wish we can drop you off at the Linzer main place afterwards and you can explore the old town of Linz on your own. Its near to the port of Linz.

The Benedictine abbey Göttweig towers on the eastern edge of the Wachau, due to its mountain location also called the “Austrian Montecassino”. The ruin Dürnstein, the British King Richard the Lionheart was imprisoned. The castle ruins Aggstein from which there is a fantastic view over the Wachau. The Baroque Melk Abbey offers a wide range of guided tours for visitors from all over the world, the beautiful park invites you to marvel, look and relax. The pilgrimage church of Maria Taferl is located on the north bank of the Danube, picturesquely situated on a hill offers a magnificent view over the Danube valley and the hilly landscape of the Mostviertel up to the Alps.

The Lipno lake reservoir is a paradise for anglers! In the lake there are a variety of fish species such as carp, pike perch, pike, whitefish, whitefish, burbot, rainbow trout, Aar, perch, catfish.

HORSE RIDING

Just next to Lake Side Village (just 5 minutes walk) is the farm with pony and horses.
